What is Boarding?

Boarding is an overnight stay for your dog or cat.  Boarding can be for any duration you require, whether it's just a one night stay or a month or more.  All boarded dogs receive the same daytime privileges as the daycare pups that come here.  The only difference is instead of going home before 6:00PM, they get to spend the night here.  Please read the requirements below to insure your pet meets the requirements to be boarded with us.

Vaccinations

Dogs must be current on Rabies, Bordetella and DHLPP (distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza, parvovirus).

Cats must be current on Rabies and FVRCP (feline rhinotracheitis virus, calicivirus, panleukopenia).
For everyone's safety, pets without shots or documentation will not be allowed onsite.  Documentation must be provided at check-in time!
All shots need to have been administered at least a week before boarding.

Flea and Tick Prevention

Dogs and cats must be on flea/tick medication from April through November.
If fleas or ticks are discovered on your pet, Frontline will be applied at the owners expense.
We take no responsibility if your dog leaves here with fleas or ticks as they will be enjoying our large yard for much of their day.

Medical Conditions

Any medical needs or medications must be disclosed to our staff in advance so that we can provide the best care for your pet.
There is no extra charge for medication administration (up to twice daily).  This excludes injections.

Spay/Neuter

Females in heat will not be accepted, we apologize for the inconvenience.  We are no longer accepting new guests that have not been neutered.  Guests that are intact that have stayed with us previously will be grandfathered in and we will continue to allow them here.

Feeding

In order to avoid upset stomachs, it is crucial for your pet to maintain the same diet they eat at home.  We request that you bring their food in prepackaged containers/bags, pre-portioned for each meal of their stay (make sure to calculate carefully).  Please pack a little extra in case their stay is extended for any reason.  Please do not bring large containers or entire dog food bags (unless they are small) as we are tight on space in our guest lockers.  All dogs will be fed twice per day, though we can accommodate dogs that require more frequent feedings due to digestive issues and the like.  We also have Science Diet on hand for a small fee in case you forget to bring their food.
